Setting up the drawing space in AutoCAD

This post originally appeared on Habitables as part of my guest blogger series on architectural software.

Before starting any design in AutoCAD, it’s important to format your drawing space to your project’s requirements. This is how I prepare to start CADing.

Essentially this degree would give me some (hopefully most) of the skills needed to be a CAD/Revit/3DS monkey. It’s not a full on architecture course but there are plenty of theory and art classes mixed in with the software/tech ones that I’m really looking forward to.
